…God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea.
Those are the familiar words of the first refrain of “America The Beautiful.” A little sung refrain implores:
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till selfish gain no longer stain
The banner of the free!
In this hour, this is the refrain we need the most.
Never would I have believed 33 years ago when God called me to ministry that I would be speaking the things I now feel compelled by the Spirit to speak.
Indeed, in the early years of my ministry I was persuaded that political and governmental matters were not something ministers should involve themselves in.
But, in that Bicentennial year of our republic, only a very seasoned and anointed prophet would have been able to have foreseen even the smallest glimpse of what we would be facing as a nation in 2009.
It is irrefutable, in my view, that the Obama administration is on a satanically inspired tare to institute not just socialism, but ultimately fascism.
At the very least, every Christian must begin to pray with more fervency than ever before for God’s intervention.
The America that declared its sovereignty 233 years ago will very soon be no more without decisive divine intervention.
Who could have ever envisioned that the first Afro-American would be the one to enslave Americans all over again?
