Don’t Let Your Enemy In (by Sandra Bazemore)

Holy Scripture: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Worry is an enemy that arrives on our doorsteps disguised as a friend. When we’re in trouble, worry says, “stick with me, I’ll help you deal with this.” WHAT A LIE!!! Worry never contributes anything positive. It’s a circular thought pattern that only leads to more worry, and in the end it leaves us with a knot in our stomach and no plan of action.

REMEMBER this thing…and when we hear the knock, knock, knock of worry at our door, don’t answer. Instead, pray. Ask for God’s help. Trust God. Thank God and He’ll lead us to His solution, and His station of peace…He will be like a guard outside our hearts and keep worry off our premises. He is our peace-giver and He is our God♥♥♥

Life Application: “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, THINK ON THESE THINGS.” Philippians 4:8

Worry is not our friend it is a disease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
