Hymns from yesteryear are still FUN and helpful

Posted on Updated on

Me? Well I love the “old” hymns . . .

Still re-setting chairs around 8am, and needing to leave to pick up ladies at two different locations, it dawned upon me that any personal bass-rehearsal time wouldn’t be possible. Fortunately, we had chosen good songs for whate’er be tide. Thanks to Danielle, Cathy, and Patrice for making up the difference. Hope you FB friends can see how much fun we are having as we hope to revive some songs from yesteryear.

One of my major complaints with some of our churches is that our services have become so organized, so orchestra and choreographed . . . we lose the spontaneity of our worship. We need to simply allow the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us. If it messes up our plans, so be it. This way we will never miss the joyous rewards He has in-store for us.
