Along with the Psalmist, we declare on this Thankful Thursday that “Our lips shall shout for joy when we sing praises to You, and our inner beings, which You have redeemed” (Psalm 71:23).
You Father are our delight and our hope. We have indeed tasted of your goodness and it has left us hungering for more. We will rejoice this morning, and every day afterward because we have seen your wonder and majesty.
As we look out to see the world outside, we thank You for what this day holds. we anticipate a glorious day, despite what others may say we will commit our way into Your hands for good and not for evil. Please continue to guide and direct our steps. Use us to impact others for good, to encourage and enrich their lives, to give the hope and not to discourage them.
Change us! Open the eyes of our hearts to know You, Your will, Your ways.Especially when we speak to those we live with whether they are our families or roommates.
We thank You for your Word which will continue to change us into the image of our Savior. Penetrate our hearts by the power of Your Holy Spirit. We yield to Your will and ways.
Order our steps for this is the day that You have made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Be glorified in every word we speak and thought we think. Thank for being our King . . . our Father.
Amen! ~Nickolas Hiemstra, who is delight to offer a simple prayer and a moment of worship and praise!
