Forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments. Proverbs 3
Gracious Father we come before you just to say thank you for another day. We continue to lift you up and give you praise. Lord, continue to remember the sick and the less fortunate one among us. Bless them according to your will. For you know what we deserve but please remember what we need. We give thanks for your unconditional Love, Grace and unearned Mercy. We appreciate your son Jesus our Savior.
We thank you for your wisdom that increases our understanding. We ask that you continue to tame our conversations (tongues) even in simple-playful ways. Help us to be careful of the words that flow out of our mouths, so that we don’t defile the whole body. Scripture teaches us: Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (Matt:12&34)
For your word is health to our navel and marrow to our bones. So we strive daily that self decrease and Jesus increase in us. Glory!!!
Lord, we take nothing for granted, even at our best we are nothing but filthy rags. (Isiah 64:6) So, Lord we ask that you continue to intervene in the events of our lives that we can someday reign with thee.
As we prepare to sleep and for some that’s just starting their day, we ask in advance for protection. We honor You and give You all the praise in Jesus name we humbly submit this prayer. Amen ~Margaret Figures Jacobs
